Draft dated 5 October 2026 · 2026-10-05
Terms of Use
These Terms describe use of the Shoe Charm Factory website and public design beta. They do not replace the applicable MakerWorld crowdfunding terms or the specific license attached to a reward tier.
This draft is not ready for public release. Confirm the legal operator, jurisdiction, and a monitored contact address before publishing it.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You may explore the public Studio without an account. To register, provide a valid email address and accurate display name, verify your email, and keep your password and session private. You are responsible for activity through your account except where applicable law says otherwise.
If you are below the age at which you can make this agreement in your location, ask a parent or guardian to use the service with you.
2. Public beta and availability
Version 7 supports designing, saving local drafts, previewing shoe charms, and exporting SVG, STL and editable color 3MF files where downloads are enabled. Features may change during development and testing; an invitation code does not by itself unlock an unavailable feature.
The 3D preview is illustrative. You must check fit, print settings, materials, and physical safety before using an exported printable file. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular launch date, but mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
3. Artwork and acceptable use
You retain your rights in artwork and text you provide. Only use material you own or have permission to use, and do not use the service to infringe rights, break the law, attack the service, or interfere with other users. The current Studio processes uploaded artwork in your browser for previews and local drafts.
We do not obtain ownership of your artwork merely because you use the Studio. If future cloud storage or sharing is introduced, we will update these terms and the Privacy Notice before using it.
4. Invitation codes and reward access
An ordinary crowdfunding invitation code may be redeemed by one verified account and remains tied to that first account. It cannot be unbound or moved to another account through the normal account interface. Contact the project team if an exceptional correction is needed; any transfer is discretionary and must be recorded.
A designated shared beta code may be used by multiple accounts, but it does not confer a paid or commercial license. Reward duration, export limits, and commercial permissions depend on the specific pledge tier and its applicable campaign and license terms. Redemption is recorded, but in this preview it does not mean paid download access has begun.
5. Crowdfunding and payments
Pledges and payment or refund requests are handled under the relevant MakerWorld crowdfunding and payment terms, plus any mandatory rights that apply to you. This website does not currently take payment. Check the campaign page for current rewards and prices.
6. Changes, misuse, and account access
We may restrict an account or code if there is credible fraud, abuse, unauthorized sharing, or a security risk. We may update beta features and these Terms. Material changes affecting account use will be communicated in a reasonable way; changes will not remove mandatory rights or override existing pledge promises without a lawful basis.
7. Responsibility and contact
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided without a guarantee that previews are error-free or suitable for a particular printer or shoe. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.
For account, code, or legal questions, use the project contact channel identified below. The operator’s formal legal name, contact address, and governing-law details must be completed before publication.
Contact
A monitored contact email and the operator’s legal identity will be added before these notices are published. Until then, questions may be sent through the MakerWorld crowdfunding project page. Crowdfunding project ↗
